Oh, Megan. I'm so sorry. You hide it well, which is why I'm grateful you're a writer and share these otherwise invisible parts of yourself. Carry on! And fingers crossed they go away...xo
Draft on, friend! Migraines are no joke, and I applaud you for keeping at it. May we all have such grit.
P.S. Think I'm going to have to borrow your "writing challenge" calendar thingie. Need to get my motivation back as I re-enter the drafting stages myself :)
Thanks for sharing and spreading awareness about this, Megan. I don't suffer from migraines but my husband does, and I've witnessed how all-consuming and crippling they can be. No magic cures here, but sending you big hugs and hoping for more pain-free days for you. 🩷
Thank you Beth! And being a loved one of someone with chronic pain is an incredibly important job too, so major props to you for all the ways you show up for your husband as he navigates migraines.
I feel ya! My chronic TMJ pain is in a better place now (after thousands of dollars in masseter Botox), but there were days when I wanted to rip off my jaw and throw it into the bay. Be proud of the progress you've made, even when it's slow-going. We're doing the best we can!
